JPSC Recruitment – Various Food Safety Officer Posts – Apply Now

The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has invited online applications for the recruitment of 56 Food Safety Officers (FSO) in the Jharkhand Government. The online application process will start on June 15, 2023 and will end on July 14, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the post of Food Safety Officer, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Be a citizen of India
• Have passed B.Sc. in Food Science and Technology or equivalent from a recognized university
• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of food safety
• Be proficient in Hindi and English
• Be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of a Food Safety Officer

Application Process:

Interested candidates can apply for the post of Food Safety Officer online through the official website of JPSC. The application fee is Rs. 500/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST candidates.

Selection Process:

The selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the following stages:

1. Written Test (MCQ)
2. Interview

The written test will be of 100 marks and will be conducted in a computer-based mode. The Interview will be conducted to assess the candidate’s communication and interpersonal skills.

The final selection will be made on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained in the written test and interview.

Salary and Benefits:

The selected candidates will be paid a salary of Rs. 35,000/- per month. They will also be entitled to other benefits such as PF, medical, and leave.
