Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for a Junior Assistant – Typist (JAT) position at IGNOU, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a citizen of India.
- Must have attained the age of 18 years and not exceeded 25 years as on the date of application.
- Must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognized board or university.
- Must have typing speed of at least 40 words per minute in English and 20 words per minute in Hindi.
To be eligible for a Stenographer position at IGNOU, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a citizen of India.
- Must have attained the age of 18 years and not exceeded 25 years as on the date of application.
- Must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognized board or university.
- Must have shorthand speed of at least 80 words per minute in English and 60 words per minute in Hindi.
