IDBI Bank has announced 650 vacancies for Junior Assistant Manager (Grade ‘O’) through the Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) program. This program helps candidates get trained and work in the banking sector.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification:

• Must have a graduation degree from a recognized university.
• Should have basic computer knowledge.
• Knowing a regional language is preferred.

Age Limit (as of March 1, 2025):

• Minimum Age: 20 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years
• Born between March 2, 2000 – March 1, 2005 (both dates included)
• Age Relaxation:
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • PWD: 10 years
  • Ex-Servicemen & 1984 Riot Victims: 5 years

Selection Process

1. Online Test (Objective Type):
   • Logical Reasoning, Data Analysis & Interpretation: 60 questions
   • English Language: 40 questions
   • Quantitative Aptitude: 40 questions
   • General/Economy/Banking Awareness: 60 questions
   • Total Duration: 120 minutes (2 hours)
   • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted per wrong answer
2. Personal Interview:
   • Shortlisted candidates will attend an interview.
   • Total marks: 100
   • Qualifying marks:
     • General: 50%
     • SC/ST/OBC/PWD: 45%
3. Final Selection:
   • 75% weightage for Online Test
   • 25% weightage for Interview

Training Program Details

Selected candidates will complete a 1-year PGDBF program, which includes:

• 6 months classroom training
• 2 months internship
• 4 months on-the-job training at IDBI Bank branches
• Training Fee: ₹3,00,000 + GST (includes tuition, lodging, boarding, etc.)

Salary & Stipend

• During Training (6 months): ₹5,000 per month
• During Internship (2 months): ₹15,000 per month
• After joining as Junior Assistant Manager: ₹6.14 lakh – ₹6.50 lakh per year (depending on job location)

Service Bond

Candidates must work for at least 3 years in IDBI Bank.

• If they leave before 3 years, they must pay ₹2,00,000 as a penalty.

Application Fee

• SC/ST/PWD: ₹250 (Intimation Charges only)
• Others: ₹1,050 (Application Fee + Intimation Charges)
